nb. Magazine
I worked with nb. Magazine on editorial and marketing design, creating layouts and assets across print and digital for a thoughtful, contemporary literary publication.
I supported NB. Magazine with editorial and marketing design across print and digital, helping the magazine stay consistent as it evolved, including the launch of a new quarterly zine.
The brief was to create layouts and promotional materials that felt fresh and engaging, while still staying true to NB.’s established look and tone. Everything needed to work as one system across spreads, social content and marketing assets.
I focused on clean, well-structured layouts, considered typography and a warm, modern aesthetic that supports the content rather than overpowering it. The aim was to create something that felt polished but approachable, clear and inviting, and led by the words.
Alongside cover illustration by Jasmine Hortop, the updated design helped NB. Magazine evolve its visual identity while keeping its core audience in mind. Across every format, the work strengthened consistency and clarity, supporting a smooth transition into digital and reinforcing what the magazine stands for: thoughtful storytelling and a love of great books.
